The National Association of Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NANNP) improves the care of newborns, infants, and their families by establishing a forum for communication among neonatal nurse practitioners. It also provides a voice for communicating jointly with the Perinatal Section of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) about neonatal issues in order to improve upon the already strong collaboration between neonatologists and NNPs.
Membership in NANNP automatically provides you with membership in NANN and all its benefits.

Discounted AANP Membership for NANNP Members!
NANNP has become a group member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). This membership provides many helpful benefits to NANNP as an organization, but also to you as individual NANNP members. NANNP members can take advantage of a $10 reduction on AANP individual full membership dues. Ninety percent of your AANP dues is tax deductible.
NANNP members can join AANP by completing an application and either faxing or mailing it in, or by joining directly online. NANNP members will receive the $10 discount after filing in what organization they belong to in the area provided.

Membership in the AAP Section on Perinatal Pediatrics
NANNP is proud of its partnership with the American Academy of Pediatrics. Members of NANNP consult with the AAP Perinatal Pediatrics Section to make recommendations for programs, policy statements, educational standards, and other actions related to neonatal care and neonatal nurse practitioners. We are committed to improving the already strong collaboration between neonatologists and NNPs.
As an added benefit of membership, NANNP now provides an easy way to apply to the AAP Section on Perinatal Pediatrics. NANNP members can apply for Section Affiliate Membership, which is available to licensed healthcare providers practicing in fields associated with perinatal pediatrics such as nurses and advanced nurse practitioners. Affiliate applicants must submit a completed application form, all necessary fees and a copy of license. Yearly membership is $75.
